Job summary

Drury Hotels Company, LLC is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time housekeepers at Drury Plaza Hotel in Columbia, MO. You will play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families, keeping rooms clean and inviting, and contributing to a warm, welcoming stay.

We offer quarterly bonuses up to $3,200 annually, flexible scheduling, hotel discounts, paid time off, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• No previous cleaning experience required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies.
• Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift 25–35 pounds intermittently during shift.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, changing linens, and making bathrooms shine.

What you will do

In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine.

• Vacuuming, changing linens, and making bathrooms shine
• Maintaining a clean and positive environment for guests and teammates
• Ensuring exceptional experiences for guests
• Performing various housekeeping services to maintain rooms clean according to established standards
• Visually inspecting rooms to identify maintenance items
• Assisting guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested
• Providing courteous service and responding quickly and efficiently to requests, inquiries, and complaints with a Service +1 attitude
• Contributing to a positive work environment at all times
• Assisting in laundry or cleaning public spaces as needed
• Working Saturdays and Sundays may be required for this position

Requirements

• No previous cleaning experience required.
• Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies.
• Ability to work independently (no direct supervision) and follow instructions (verbal and written).
• Positive and resolutive attitude.
• Dedication to excellent customer service.
• Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift.
• Ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and kneel in daily tasks.
• Ability to lift 25-35 pounds intermittently during shift.

Compensation

• Competitive starting hourly pay
• Quarterly bonuses up to $3200/year based on hotel results.
