Job summary

Fairfield Inn and Suites Sidney is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain spotless guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring guests feel at home and that our property reflects our family values.

We offer a day shift with pay at $13-15 per hour, flexible scheduling (full-time and part-time), and on-the-job training with opportunities for advancement within Seva Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time and complete rooms within shift.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and toiletries.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures to brand standards.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
• Restock in-room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and stationery.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department promptly.
• Organize the linen closet and restock your cart at the end of each shift to prepare for the next day.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with any immediate needs or requests encountered during your shift.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for an entire shift, and bending, pushing, and pulling regularly


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction


• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned rooms within the scheduled shift


• Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or custodial experience preferred but not required


• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
