The island is a paradise for nature lovers and offers a host of recreational, naturalist-led adventures including birding, boating, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, interpretive tours, beach combing, fishing and swimming. We are seeking a seasonal housekeeper, with room and board included. The position would start in September and departure date is negotiable - we'd like someone until at least Spring, with potential to extend into year-round.
Housekeepers work as a team to clean all 16 guest rooms as well as the public areas of the Lodge daily. This positionis a day shift with no nights required.
Housekeepers are responsible for thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, patios and public areas to the Lodge’s high standards. They are also responsible for making beds, washing and folding laundry, and restocking guest supplies.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and speak English. A minimum of one year working in a housekeeping position is preferred but not required. Enthusiastic, hardworking, and dependable, with the ability to work well in a team. Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.
