Job summary

Sea Island Company seeks a diligent Room Attendant at The Inn at Sea Island on St. Simons Island. You will clean and refresh guest rooms to high standards, handle linens and amenities, and keep public areas clean while delivering courteous service to guests.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred, and the team adheres to Sea Island’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Exhibits Sea Island Five-Star Behavior Standards with guests, members and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in proper uniform per Dress Code policy.
• Clean and maintain guest rooms to Sea Island standards (beds, bathrooms, dusting, linens, glass/mirrors, waste, vacuuming, carpet, windows).
• Re-supply guest room amenities; ensure rooms are ready for occupancy.
• Maintain carts and linen closets; keep public spaces tidy and presentable.
• Perform deep cleaning as instructed by Supervisor; assist with guest problem resolutions as needed.
