Job summary

Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, cabins, and public spaces. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and help reflect the park's natural beauty through hospitality.

Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning spaces, restocking amenities, and ensuring rooms are guest-ready. A physical role requiring lifting and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Make beds and change linens in accordance with lodge standards
• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces thoroughly and efficiently
• Dust, vacuum, and clean carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery
• Replenish room amenities and supplies
• Replace light bulbs, remove trash, and restock housekeeping carts
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items
• Conduct final checks to ensure rooms are guest-ready

Position Overview
