Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms; empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the disposal area; replenish supplies.
• Walk through assigned areas to ensure housekeeping standards and sanitation guidelines are met.
• Interact with guests occasionally while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
• Report maintenance and repair problems to the supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay

$15.50 – $15.50 / hour

What will you do?

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms; empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the disposal area; replenish supplies.
• Conduct a walk‑around of assigned areas to ensure the facility meets housekeeping standards; ensure sanitation guidelines are maintained, all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean, and organized.
• Interact with and assist guests on occasion while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
• Report the maintenance and repair problems to the supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be available to work weekends and Holidays.

Physical requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying, and climbing stairs.
• Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
• Working conditions include being regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally works in outside weather conditions, and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
• Noise level may be moderate to loud.
