Job summary

THE NOLAN COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT is looking for a full-time cleaning staff member in Sweetwater, TX. Responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks, sanitation of facilities, and maintenance of cleanliness in OR rooms.

Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, able to follow directives, and possess knowledge of cleaning products. Offers an excellent benefits package, gym membership, and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum areas with carpeting.
• Sweep and mop tile, linoleum, and stone floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and fixtures.
• Stock linens and scrubs for medical staff.

Salary Range: $12.70 - $19.06 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Vacuum areas with carpeting.
• Sweep and mop tile, linoleum and stone floors.
• Empty, sanitize and re-line trash receptacles.
• Clean and sanitize bathroom and bathroom fixtures.
• Clean over-bed tables, phones, light switches, windows and blinds.
• Replace disposable items.
• Clean beds, mattresses and call cords.
• Collect trash and remove recyclable materials from offices and public areas.
• Perform pest control duties.
• Collect and remove bio-hazard for shipment.
• Clean and ready OR rooms.
• Routine cleaning in OR.
• Clean and maintain recovery room.
• Stock linens and scrubs for nurses and doctors.
• Receive linen, stock throughout hospital and doctor's offices.
• Ready soiled linen for pick up.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain confidentiality; work independently and be self-motivated; exercise tact and discretion.
• Work effectively under time and pressure.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, material and cleaning machines.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets a plus.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring lifting or 75 pounds or more and operate cleaning equipment required.
