The Landings of Swansboro is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents at the facility. You will perform general cleaning, laundry, and waste management to support daily living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: Wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Restock cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff to keep the facility well-maintained.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
