The Landings of Albemarle is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our senior living community. You will perform cleaning, laundry, waste management, and inventory tasks while following safety protocols and engaging with residents to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in common areas and resident rooms to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff.
• Dispose of trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean and organized.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Work with staff to keep the facility well-maintained and residents comfortable.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols
