Qualifications

• 0-1 year of housekeeping or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.

• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping duties in resident apartments, rooms, common areas, and designated spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and fixtures.
• Change bed linens and ensure rooms are tidy and organized.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly and safely.
• Complete assigned duties according to priorities set by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintain and properly use housekeeping equipment and supplies to minimize waste and promote safety.
• Respond courteously and professionally to resident requests and relay feedback to the Supervisor.

What Makes You Successful

• Perform routine housekeeping duties in resident apartments, rooms, common areas, and other designated areas throughout the community.

• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, fixtures, and other surfaces.

• Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure resident rooms and apartments are tidy and organized.

• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly and safely.

• Complete assigned housekeeping duties according to the priorities established by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

• Maintain and properly use housekeeping equipment and supplies to minimize waste, prevent damage, and promote a safe work environment.

• Respond courteously and professionally to resident requests and communicate feedback or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

• 0-1 year of housekeeping or related experience; previous experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or another service environment is helpful but not required.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and sanitation practices.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spaces.

• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to work as part of a team.

• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and families.

• A genuine willingness to work with and serve older adults.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and safely push, pull, or move items such as housekeeping carts and furniture.

• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
