Job summary

Legacy Village of Stillwater, part of Western States Lodging & Management, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces to the highest cleanliness and safety standards. You’ll work closely with residents and team members, performing routine cleaning, linen changes, trash disposal, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a welcoming home for residents.

Qualifications

• Perform routine housekeeping duties in resident apartments, rooms, common areas, and other designated areas throughout the community.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure resident rooms and apartments are tidy and organized.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly and safely.
• Complete assigned housekeeping duties according to the priorities established by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintain and properly use housekeeping equipment and supplies to minimize waste, prevent damage, and promote a safe work environment.
• Respond courteously and professionally to resident requests and communicate feedback or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for new or returning residents by changing linens and tidying spaces.

What We’re Looking For

• 0-1 year of housekeeping or related experience; previous experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or another service environment is helpful but not required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spaces.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and families.
• A genuine willingness to work with and serve older adults.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and safely push, pull, or move items such as housekeeping carts and furniture.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
