Springfield Villa in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a housekeeper to join our team. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas while maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.

The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual, and able to follow a schedule with the potential for varied shifts; prior healthcare or commercial laundry/housekeeping experience is preferred. Health and retirement benefits are offered along with paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and able to keep to a schedule.
• May require a varied schedule as requested.
• Healthcare or commercial laundry/housekeeping experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms with attention to detail.
• Clean common areas of the facility.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition.
• Remove trash and soiled linens; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment.

Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping duties in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
