Flexjet, an award-winning organization, is currently looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team!

This position is located in Sanford, Florida.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist department by performing daily housekeeping of airplane hangars and office facilities.
2. Assess janitorial supplies and report needs to responsible party to order.
3. Good communication skills and ability to work independently with little supervision.
4. Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
5. Vacuum clean carpets, rugs, and blinds.
6. Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
7. Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
8. Clean metal fixtures and fittings (brightwork).
9. Empty and clean trash containers.
10. Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner (offices, breakrooms, restrooms, etc.).
11. Clean wash basins, mirrors, and showers.
12. Remove cobwebs as needed.
13. Wipe down glass surfaces.
14. Wash windows as scheduled.
15. Laundry (onsite) of shop rags: wash, dry, fold.
16. Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
17. Exterior lawn and drives trash patrol.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide escort to various contractors.
2. Assist with special projects assigned by management.
3. Replace light bulbs.
4. Pick up parts/supplies (company vehicle).

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Punctuality.

5. Previous relevant experience in commercial building housekeeping desired.
6. No sensitivity to common cleaning chemicals or odors.
7. Strong attention to detail and professional appearance.
8. Must be able to work in all climates.
9. Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
10. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, sometimes over shoulder.
11. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
12. Ability to drive vehicles such as cargo vans and pickup trucks.
13. Ability to pass background check for airport security badge.
14. Willingness to work an occasional weekend day or set weekend day rotation.
15. Willingness to work non-traditional workday.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
