Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate cleaning tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of clubhouse, leasing offices, fitness room and other common areas.
• Notifies maintenance of deficiencies or needed repairs.
• Performs daily inspection and touch-ups of make ready units to ensure readiness for leasing.
• Assists maintenance/grounds personnel to maintain curb appeal, including planting, weed removal, lawn watering and snow removal.
• Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies supervisor of needs.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Cleans facilities including restrooms and the community room.
• Cleans vacant apartment units as assigned.
• Assists supervisor with resident retention activities.
• Understands and adheres to Fair Housing laws.
• Follows Marous Management emergency policies and procedures.
• Attends staff meetings and training; maintains professional appearance and conduct.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Housekeeper

Marous Management Services is currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our team in Sandusky, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving company-owned facilities in a safe and economical manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Understands the Marous 5 Ps Business Plan and be an active participant in the implementation and execution of responsibilities necessary to achieve property and company goals.


• Maintains cleanliness of clubhouse, leasing offices, fitness room and other common areas.


• Notifies maintenance of deficiencies, damage or needed repairs to equipment, furniture, or anything on the property in need of attention.


• Performs daily inspection and touch-up of make ready units and models to ensure that they are 100% ready to be leased and occupied.


• Assists maintenance/grounds personnel in maintaining curb appeal including planting flowers, weed removal, lawn watering, snow removal, etc.


• Monitors the inventory of cleaning supplies and/or equipment and notify supervisor of needs.


• Maintains cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.


• Maintains cleanliness of facilities, including restroom facilities.


• Maintains cleanliness of community room, including carpets, furniture, windows and kitchen area.


• Cleans vacant apartments units as assigned.


• Assists supervisor with set up and participation in resident retention activities.


• Understands and adheres to all Fair Housing laws.


• Adheres to established Marous Management emergency policies and procedures.


• Attends staff meetings and assigned training.


• Maintains professional appearance and conduct at all times.


• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.


• Must possess demonstrated knowledge and skill in safely using appropriate tools and equipment in maintaining and repairing company-owned facilities.


• Previous experience in multi-family or commercial cleaning preferred.


• The ability to lift up to 60lbs.

Pay:

• $16-$20/hour, depending on experience
