Job summary

Hospitality Management Corporation is seeking a dependable Housekeeper for the Sonesta ES Suites Downtown Alamo Plaza in San Antonio, TX. You will clean rooms to hotel standards and assist in maintaining guest satisfaction throughout shifts.

Strong time-management and teamwork are essential. The role offers an hourly wage of $16.50 with a solid benefits package and opportunities for advancement within a growing hospitality company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Stable work history preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
• Restock room carts with supplies and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Report room status, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Department.
• Safely handle and secure pass keys during each shift.
• Turn in lost and found items and document properly.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning agents and supplies.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements:

• Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
• Must have prior housekeeping experience.
• Must have ability to communicate effectively
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Need to be a team player – if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won’t be a good fit for you!
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Stable work history required
