Job summary

Travelodge of McAlester, OK is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with hotel standards. The role requires reliable teamwork and strong time management.

You will restock carts, report issues, and handle pass keys securely during shifts, with opportunities for growth within a growing company. Responsibilities include deep cleaning tasks, collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and providing courteous, professional guest

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Stable work history is expected.
• Prior housekeeping experience is required.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
• Restock room carts with supplies and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Report room status, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Department.
• Safely handle and secure assigned pass keys during each shift.
• Turn in lost and found items and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning agents and supplies.
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements:

• Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
• Must have prior housekeeping experience.
• Must have ability to communicate effectively
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Need to be a team player - if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won't be a good fit for you!
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Stable work history required
