Drury Plaza Hotel is hiring full-time and part-time housekeepers in Saint Paul, MN. You will be part of a team delivering clean and welcoming rooms for guests, with a Service +1 attitude and a focus on exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members.
• Perform hotel cleaning duties to keep rooms clean according to standards.
• Vacuum, change linens, and clean bathrooms.
• Assist guests by providing towels, amenities, or information as requested.
• Deliver friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude.
• Work seven days a week with potential weekend shifts.

What you will do

In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don\'t cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine.

Compensation

• Competitive starting hourly pay

What you will do and requirements

• Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members
• Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests
• Perform hotel cleaning duties to keep rooms clean according to established standards
• Visually inspect rooms to identify maintenance items
• Assist guests by providing linen, towels, amenities, or information as requested
• Deliver friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude
• Contribute to a positive work environment for all team members and guests
• Drury Hotels are open 7 days a week; weekend work may be required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Deep knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Provide excellent customer service

Mental and Physical Requirements

• Education: knowledge, skills, and aptitudes equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school
• Experience: previous cleaning experience is useful but not required
• Essential functions: ability to walk and stand throughout shift; push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend; ability to lift 25 – 35 pounds intermittently

Report to: Executive Housekeeper / General Manager

Drury Hotels are open seven days a week; weekends may be required for this position.
