Job summary

Carlton Senior Living in Sacramento, CA is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain clean resident rooms and common areas.

You will perform daily housekeeping, laundry, trash handling, and support safety and elopement prevention, while delivering a warm, caring atmosphere.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.50 per hour with weekend shifts; training provided and opportunities for benefits as part of our culture of caring.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years or older.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Part-time schedule with weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties including making beds, cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and returning resident clothing and linens.
• Support overall cleanliness by handling trash, organizing supply rooms, and assisting with window washing and floor care.
• Support safety protocols and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

What we are hiring for:

Schedule:Part Time: Sunday and Monday 8am to 4pm OR Friday and Saturday 2pm to 9pm

Starting Pay Range:

$17.00 to $17.50 Per Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Perform daily housekeeping duties including making beds, cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and returning resident clothing and linens, while maintaining proper sorting and tracking.
• Support overall cleanliness of the community by handling trash disposal, organizing supply rooms, and assisting with special cleaning tasks such as window washing and floor care.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years or older, per Title 22 requirements
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required - we will train the right candidate!
