Job summary

Carlton Senior Living in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. You will also handle laundry, trash, and supply organization while following safety protocols.

No previous housekeeping experience is required as training is provided; applicants must be 18 or older. This on-call, part-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow within a caring, team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old per Title 22 requirements.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties including making beds, cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and returning resident clothing and linens, while maintaining proper sorting and tracking.
• Support overall cleanliness of the community by handling trash disposal, organizing supply rooms, and assisting with special cleaning tasks such as window washing and floor care.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

What we are hiring for:

Schedule: On Call 7AM-330PM

Pay Range: $16-17.50
