BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, California, a private 115-bed facility established in 1924, is seeking a Per Diem Housekeeper. The role focuses on daily disinfecting patient common areas and public spaces, maintaining a safe, OSHA-compliant environment.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning and disinfecting as directed, wiping touch surfaces, securely storing supplies, assisting the Director of Plant Operations, and reporting health or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years experience in housekeeping duties, preferably in a health care facility.
• Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• May be required to work variable shifts, overtime and flexible hours.

BHC Alhambra Hospital is a private, fully accredited, full-service acute psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescents and adults. BHC Alhambra is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment. We offer inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient options for individuals in the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas.

Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for daily disinfecting patient common areas and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Perform routine cleaning disinfecting of patient’s common areas and public areas as assigned by supervisor.
• Clean areas with disinfectants, wiped down all touch surface.
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patient access when in use.
• Assist the Director of Plant Operations as needed.
• Report any situations that may affect the health and wellbeing of patients or employees.
