Job summary

Avantara Mountain View is seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Maintenance worker to uphold cleanliness and infection control standards in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas, operating housekeeping tools and equipment, and ensuring equipment is maintained for safe operations.

Qualifications

• Eleventh grade education required.
• Prior housekeeping or maintenance experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.
• Willing to invest in the right candidate with training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards of resident areas.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility and operate housekeeping tools and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Support overall operation of the facility to uphold high standards of care.

As a Housekeeper/Maintenance worker you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Mountain View by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment. Your work in our maintenance department will asssure that equipment is functioning properly, scheduled maintenance is taking place, and the overall operation of the facility is at its highest level.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Housekeeping and/or Maintenance experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
