Job summary

Legacy Healthcare, Avanta ra Pierre, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join a friendly, supportive team. Shifts are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, rotating weekdays and every other weekend/holiday, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards in residents' environments, using housekeeping tools and chemicals, and contributing to a clean, safe facility. Prior SNF housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eleventh (11th) grade education required, must be 16 or older.
• Prior housekeeping in Skilled Nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in residents' environment.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility using housekeeping tools, chemicals and equipment.
• Support a safe, high-quality care setting for residents.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Pierre by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: At a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education and must be 16 and up.

Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
