Job summary

Avantara Huron is seeking a Floor Tech/Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and infection control across the resident environment. You will clean and sanitize all areas and operate housekeeping tools, chemicals, and equipment to ensure a high standard of care.

Minimum 11th grade education; prior Floor Tech/Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred (buffing/waxing). Avantara Huron is an equal opportunity employer.

As a Floor Tech/Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Huron by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Floor Tech/ Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable. (Buffing/waxing)
