Job summary

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to resident well-being.

This full-time position runs 7:00AM-3:30PM, with some holidays and every other weekend required. Compensation ranges from $15.25 to $17.25 per hour, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors.
• Spot clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans.
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC vents.
• Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time.
• Assist with picking up trash.
• Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture.
• Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident.
• Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary.
