The Housekeeper at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pueblo-Southgate is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.
Essential Functions
- Follow company and brand procedures in the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms.
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
- Perform repetitive duties such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
- Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
- Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed within the guest room in conjunction with the maintenance department.
- Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by schedule.
- Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards according to company and brand guidelines.
- Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift.
- Complete any special requests made by guests or other departments on behalf of guests.
- Report maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Effective and clear communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand/walk throughout shift and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on hotel demands.
- Desire to serve all guests.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hotel cleaning or related field.
