The Housekeeper at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pueblo-Southgate is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

Essential Functions

1. Follow company and brand procedures in the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms.
2. Complete all pre-cleaning duties such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
3. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
4. Perform repetitive duties such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
5. Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
6. Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed within the guest room in conjunction with the maintenance department.
7. Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
8. Maintain regular attendance as required by schedule.
9. Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards according to company and brand guidelines.
10. Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift.
11. Complete any special requests made by guests or other departments on behalf of guests.
12. Report maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand/walk throughout shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on hotel demands.

• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hotel cleaning or related field.
