Touchmark West Hills in Portland, OR is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident homes and common areas with exceptional cleanliness and hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), English proficiency, and be able to work weekends/holidays. Prior experience in a retirement community is a plus. Competitive pay: $20.29–$21.23/hour with benefits. We value compassion, integrity, teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community is preferred but not required.
• Strong English reading, writing and speaking abilities.

We are currently seeking the right person to join our hospitality-focused team as a Housekeeper.

As a Housekeeper, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring that each of the resident’s homes, as well as our community’s common areas, are exceptionally clean, healthy, and pleasant spaces for residents and guests to enjoy. This is not your standard housekeeping position – at Touchmark, you have the daily opportunity to build long-term relationships with the wonderful people who call this community “home!”

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community, though this is not required
• Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays
• Be able to read, write, and speak English
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Wage: $20.29 to $21.23 per hour based on experience.
