The Housekeeper performs cleaning and servicing tasks to maintain the facility in an orderly, sanitary, and attractive condition. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, furniture, sinks, counters, waste disposal, window washing, and supporting infection control standards. The role supports creating a positive environment for residents under supervision.

Qualifications

• Thoroughly performs cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal.
• Uses room deodorizer as needed, ensures supplies are available, and follows OSHA standards for infectious waste handling.

Education and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a housekeeper or janitor preferred but not required.
