Job summary

Ivy Park at Palo Alto is seeking a Housekeeper to clean resident apartments, public areas, and laundry for residents in a friendly, patient-centered community. The role supports a safe, comfortable living environment and requires care for the elderly with respect and team collaboration.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, with a pay range of $20.00-$23.00 per hour. This on-site position offers standard community benefits and the chance to contribute to a supportive senior living

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
