Job summary

Ivy Park at Los Gatos is seeking a Housekeeper to clean resident and common areas, and handle laundry in a friendly, caring environment. This full-time role requires weekend availability and compliance with safety standards.

We welcome candidates who enjoy caring for the elderly, with HS diploma or equivalent, and ability to interact clearly with residents, families, and staff. Health screenings and vaccinations may be required.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be applied per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company�s mission, vision, and values.
