Job summary

Oakmont Management Group's Ivy Park at Palo Alto is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to maintain clean resident apartments and public areas in a warm senior living community. The role supports residents and coworkers by delivering reliable cleaning services and upholding safety standards.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Candidates should have previous housekeeping experience, be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong customer service and

• Prefer prior housekeeping experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong ability to interact with residents and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB).
• Vaccination or PPE may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.

Pay Range: $20.00-$23.00

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
