Baptist Health in Paducah, KY is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician I to join our housekeeping team for the second shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment across our facilities.

Responsibilities include following infection prevention practices, proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures, safe chemical handling, and waste management. Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

Summary Job Description: Housekeeper Full Time, Second Shift - 3p-11:30p The Environmental Services Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.

Job Duties

• Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products for all items within the healthcare environment for which tasked with servicing.
• Adheres to all organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines and standards while promoting a culture of safety.
• Removes waste and transports to the appropriate disposal area while identifying proper waste streams handling (i.e. regulated medical, recycle, solid, and hazardous.

Preferred Requirements

• 1-2 years of Customer Service, 1-2 years of Hospitality, and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience
