Summary

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper will encounter guests and should have positive guest interactions by performing the following duties:

• Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Maintains a clean and organized cart and housekeeping closet.
• Cleans hotel rooms including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, lobby, and common areas.
• Performs quality cleaning to meet standards within set time limits.
• Complies with safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Picks up ground litter around the hotel or visible areas.
• May be responsible for delivering supplies, replenishing toiletries, and lifting lightweight objects.
• Requires a strong eye for detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Adheres to brand standards for room amenities.
• Reports maintenance issues and works in proper uniform with nametag.
• Completes required training promptly.
• Provides friendly customer service, responding promptly to guest needs and requests.

Attendance

Must be punctual and meet attendance standards, work deadlines, and scheduled breaks.

Qualifications

Skills and Physical Demands

• Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate effectively.

Work Environment
