Position Summary
Performs daily activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as directed by the Administrator, Director, or Supervisor. Ensures the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Responsibilities

1. Cleans resident rooms, hallways, restrooms, corridors, dining rooms, utility rooms, and other work areas.
2. Washes beds and reports soiled drapes/curtains.
3. Replenishes paper and soap products.
4. Maintains adequate supplies of housekeeping materials and informs supervisor of needs.
5. Reports malfunctioning lights to supervisor promptly.
6. Assists with lifting heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
7. Cleans work/supply carts and equipment; ensures proper storage at shift end.
8. Follows cleaning schedules diligently.
9. Disposes of refuse daily following sanitation procedures.
10. Maintains regular and punctual attendance, complying with all relevant policies and standards.
11. Adheres to all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

• Attends department and staff meetings as directed.
