Our facility offers safe inpatient treatment to help individuals lead more productive and fulfilling lives. Located on a 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, our center has 112 licensed beds.

Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This includes promoting infection control, managing odors, and handling potentially infectious materials following proper procedures. The role may involve exposure to blood or bodily fluids.

This is a Per-Diem position.

Essential Job Duties

• Perform cleaning procedures throughout the hospital in a thorough and sanitary manner.
• Maintain courteous relations with staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Keep equipment care and storage areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, stand, walk, stoop, push, pull, and climb for up to eight hours; able to lift 20-25 pounds.
