Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Orem, UT is seeking Housekeepers to join our team. The position offers weekday shifts with a focus on compassionate service in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces in residents' rooms and common areas as instructed.
• Cleans, washes, sanitizes and polishes bathroom fixtures and keeps water marks to a minimum.
• Cleans floors (sweeping, mopping, waxing, disinfecting) and ensures safety signs are set.
• Cleans carpets (vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting).
• Cleans walls and ceilings; removes dirt, dust, grime using appropriate solutions.
• Removes dirt and grime from surfaces; disposes of waste properly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in residents’ rooms, and the community’s living/recreational areas, etc., as instructed.
• Cleans, washes, sanitizes and/or polishes bathroom fixtures and ensures that all water marks are removed from fixtures.
• Cleans floors, to include: sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting etc., as instructed, and always ensures that CAUTION/SAFETY signs are properly set-up PRIOR to performing such duties.
• Cleans carpets, to include: vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting, as instructed.
• Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing etc., as instructed.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed.
• Disposes of waste/trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.
