Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas as per schedule, including apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors, rugs, and carpets.
• Sanitize and polish bathrooms and fixtures; restock dispensers as needed.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment and supplies.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Manage laundry services for residents and community laundry areas.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and securely.
• Ensure safety by keeping cords, carts, and equipment out of walkways and in compliance with fire codes.
• Report repair needs and supply shortages to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Effective communication skills in the primary language of residents.
• Ability to interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Interest in working with seniors.
• Courteous and friendly interaction with residents, guests, and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to see clearly and distinguish colors.
