Position: Housekeeper

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning residents’ apartments and public areas according to a schedule and established procedures. You will also perform laundry duties in our commercial laundry facilities.

Required Experience

• High school diploma and/or 1-3 years of related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• A positive attitude and ability to work hard while providing excellent service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas following departmental standards and procedures.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and proper cleaning techniques.
• Make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Communicate tactfully with residents, visitors, staff, and others.
• Follow instructions for mixing cleaning solutions.
• Relate information about residents’ conditions as needed.
• Use supplies economically and report needs to supervisors.
• Operate cleaning machines and laundry equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

This role involves standing for long periods, reading, writing, speaking English fluently, and effective communication. You may need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and travel between locations. Moderate noise levels are expected.
