Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Colonie, NY is seeking an energetic Housekeeper to maintain clean public areas and resident apartments, following a defined schedule and supervisor instructions.

The role requires a minimum of one year of related experience and the ability to operate standard cleaning equipment. Flexible scheduling is available, and the employer offers comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. as required
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas

$16.00 - $17.50/hour - based on experience

Housekeeper

We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate Housekeeper

Housekeeper Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights


• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
