Job summary

St Joseph Hospital seeks an Environmental Services Assistant to disinfect and clean patient care, outpatient, and other hospital areas. Following the 7-step cleaning process and infection control guidelines, you will help maintain a safe, hygienic environment and perform other duties as assigned.

In this role, you support hospital operations with attention to detail, uphold mission values, and provide exemplary service to patients, visitors, families, and staff while adhering to department

• Discharge cleaning using approved chemicals.
• Other duties as consistent with this role.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.

$16.89 - $23.25
