Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Cedar Creek of Muncie, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper in our Cedar Creek of Muncie community.

As a Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our residents daily! In this role, you will work alongside the Environmental Services Director to ensure our community spaces are maintained and kept tidy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal.
• Cleaning scheduled areas including resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Collecting and laundering linens according to policies & regulations.
• Folding, sorting, and distributing clean laundry.
• Reporting supply needs and restocking supplies.
• Reporting maintenance issues.
• Communicating effectively with residents' families about residents’ wellbeing.
• Collaborating with team members and taking initiative in conflict resolution.
• Meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Fulfilling additional duties as needed.

Requirements include:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred prior housekeeping experience.
• CPR or BLS certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in internet browsers, Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR systems.
