Job Description
Duties and Essential Functions
- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, common rooms (party room, children's play room, fitness center), and other work areas to meet health standards.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
- Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Carry toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
- Maintain floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing with appropriate equipment.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and organized.
- Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; wax and polish as needed.
- Report maintenance issues such as burned-out lights, leaks, or broken equipment to the Building Maintenance Department.
- Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam sterilizers.
- Dust window blinds.
- Observe safety standards and precautions to ensure a safe work environment.
- Protect residents, guests, and property; report damage, theft, or found articles to supervisors.
- Prepare rooms for meetings, including arranging decorations and furniture for social or business events.
- Use new equipment properly and follow safety procedures.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Work Schedule: Full-Time on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7am to 3:30pm; Wednesday & Thursday from 12:00pm to 8:30pm.
- Pay Rate: $15 per hour.

Required Qualifications
Relevant experience in maintenance and janitorial work is preferred.
