Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Housekeeper to support patient safety and recovery by maintaining a clean, therapeutic environment under the guidance of the Facilities Manager and Executive Director.

Responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry, restrooms, inventory, and infection control across patient and medical areas, with a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/ GED or verifiable work experience in lieu of education
• Perform housekeeping, laundry and linen services for patient/medical areas
• Keep communal areas sanitary and debris-free
• Sanitize and stock restrooms regularly
• Inventory supplies for day-to-day operations
• Daily mopping, dusting, window washing and vacuuming
• 18 days PTO + 8 paid Holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping, laundry and linen services which encompasses patient and medical care areas, bathrooms, office, and communal areas
• Participate in housekeeping services including cleaning, mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing the floors and other surfaces
• Ensures communal areas including group rooms, lobby, waiting areas are sanitary, clean, and free of debris
• Ensures restrooms are sanitized, cleaned, and stocked on a regular basis
• Inventories supplies necessary for day-to-day operations
• Daily mopping, dusting, window washing, vacuuming and infection control
• 18 days PTO (Paid Time Off) + 8 paid Holidays
