Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to provide one-on-one support to residents and maintain cleanliness in their rooms and common areas. The role emphasizes respectful, empathetic service and daily cleaning tasks in residents' rooms, lounges, and offices.

Full-time shifts are 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with part-time options on weekends. Benefits include health coverage, vision and dental, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must understand and speak English at a level that allows safe, efficient performance of the job.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks in residents' rooms, lounges, restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas following schedules and prescribed methods.
• Operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, washers/dryers, and call systems; report repairs as needed.
• Observe and report general repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
• Approach work with a flexible, service-oriented mindset towards residents and co-workers.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Perform all housekeeping-related tasks while demonstrating service orientation to fellow co-workers, residents.
• Perform basic cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommends repairs as needed.
• Observe and report the general need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
• Operate washers and dryers, vacuum cleaner, call bell/intercom/telephone systems, and other housekeeping equipment deemed necessary and appropriate.
• Approaches work with a flexible attitude.

Housekeeper Requirements:

• Prior experience in similar environment preferred.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
