Position Summary

Vinson Hall Retirement Community (VHRC), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in beautiful McLean, VA, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team.

Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy supporting a mission-driven community, we'd love to hear from you.

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings
• Familiarity with cleaning products and proper handling of cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to VHRC standards and infection control guidelines
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility
• Replenish room supplies and linens as needed
• Collect and dispose of trash properly
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department
• Assist with laundry services as needed
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Interact with residents and staff in a professional, respectful manner
