Job summary

PACS in United States, California, Manteca is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to provide housekeeping services as directed in the facility. Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, room flips, cleaning common areas and bathrooms, emptying trash, breaking down boxes, and organizing the housekeeping closet.

The role also requires restocking supplies with the supervisor, maintaining the cart, cleaning spills, windows and tracks, and following the room cleaning schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine cleaning tasks and basic janitorial duties.
• Ability to maintain organized workspaces and restock supplies as directed.
• Attention to detail in cleaning rooms, corridors and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and assist with room flips (deep cleaning).
• Clean common areas and bathrooms; vacuum, mop, dust and wipe surfaces.
• Empty trash and remove boxes; organize housekeeping closet.
• Support cleaning of stairs, windows/tracks and glass doors as assigned.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and communicate needs with supervisor promptly.
• Follow the room cleaning schedule and handle spills or emergencies as needed.

Job description

Provide housekeeping services as directed in the facility. Cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, room flips (deep cleaning). Common areas, common bathrooms cleaning as well as residents room. The position also requires emptying trash cans, as well as breaking down boxes and removing them from the hallways, cleaning the stairwells and organizing the housekeeping closet. Making sure the house keeping closet is restock and communicate on ordering the supplies with the supervisor in a timely manner. Washing the cleaning rags and keeping the housekeeper's cart neat, organized and clean. The position requires cleaning emergency spills, emergency room cleaning as well as following the schedule for the room cleaning. Windows and tracks cleaning, glass doors cleaning and any other cleaning that is assigned to the housekeeper per need of the facility.
