Job summary

Caring Healthcare is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Associate in Bel Air, TX. You will clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, and common areas to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for residents.

Under supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will follow infection control guidelines, handle waste disposal, and ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and cleanliness across all areas of the facility.

• Ensure resident rooms are safe, comfortable and maintained in an attractive manner.
• Follow policies regarding disposal of infectious wastes and use of protection.
• Move items as needed and clean spills, soiled areas and other conditions as observed or directed.

Job description

This is a full-time position

Duties include:

Cleaning residents rooms and other interior and exterior areas of the facility. Help maintain a positive physical and social environment for the residents in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.

Clean and straighten resident's rooms, offices and common areas - to include vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, mopping, polishing... ect. Ensure resident's rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner. Ensure that all resident's personal items are safeguarded. Move items as needed and clean spills, soiled areas and other conditions as observed or directed.

Ensure all work areas are safe and that procedures regarding cleaners and hazardous materials or objects are followed. Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stored and Universal Precautions, infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are followed. Follow established policies regarding disposal of infectious wastes and use of protection.
