Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support our Assisted Living, Personal Care, and Alzheimer’s services. The role focuses on maintaining clean and safe resident environments, building relationships with residents and families, and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include weekly housekeeping tasks, floor care, linen changes, and proper waste removal.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to serve residents.
• Demonstrates patience, kindness, and ethics in daily tasks.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including linens and bed making.
• Vacuuming and mopping of floors in resident areas.
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning; dusting and polishing surfaces.
• Maintain clean and presentable common spaces; remove waste regularly.
• Work with team to build relationships with residents and families.

Housekeepers are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Housekeepers participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Housekeeper can include:

1. Work with the Morning Pointe team to build relationships with residents and families
2. Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including-
3. o Changing linens and making the bed
4. o Vacuuming and mopping of floors
5. o Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
6. o Dusting and polishing
7. Get to know the personal cleaning preferences of our residents
8. Keep common spaces clean and presentable
9. Remove waste from common areas regularly
10. Work safely by following regulations and procedures
