Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a hands-on maintenance associate to help keep our apartment communities clean, safe, and inviting. You will assist with move-ins/out, clean common areas, and support maintenance tasks as needed.

The role offers steady shifts, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for career growth within the Highmark portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must have average communication skills to understand and follow directions.
• Prefer knowledge of cleaning chemical usage.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Cleans vacant apartments for resident move-ins.
• Cleans apartment community offices, club areas, and storage spaces.
• Trashes out vacant apartments as required.
• Assists with market readies as needed.
• Maintains a clean and orderly shop with maintenance staff.
• Participates in an outgoing community improvement plan and preventive maintenance program.
• Distributes resident notices to residents as required.
• Assists with resident functions as required.
• May be transferred to work at another Highmark community.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Responsibilities

What your day to day might look like:

• Cleans vacant apartments for resident move-ins
• Cleans apartment community’s office, club area, clothes care centers and storage area.
• Trashes out vacant apartments as required.
• Assists with market readies as needed
• Assists maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
• Participates in an outgoing community improvement plan and preventive maintenance program.
• Distributes resident notices to residents as required.
• Assists with resident functions as required.
• Must have mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and to respond in cases of emergency.
• Works overtime, weekend, holiday and evening work as required.
• May be transferred of assigned to work at another Highmark community.
• May be required to assist with carpet cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
