Morning Pointe Senior Living in Knoxville, TN is seeking a compassionate HOUSEKEEPER to support residents' wellbeing through clean, comfortable living spaces and attentive service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and dignity for seniors; responsibilities include linen changes, floor care, cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms, and maintaining common areas, with flexible schedules and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with residents and families.
• Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents, including changing linens and making beds.
• Vacuum, mop floors; clean kitchen and bathroom; dust and polish.
• Learn personal cleaning preferences of residents.
• Keep common areas clean and presentable.
• Remove waste and follow safety regulations.

Housekeepers are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Housekeepers participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Housekeeper can include:

1. Work with the Morning Pointe team to build relationships with residents and families
2. Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including-
3. o Changing linens and making the bed
4. o Vacuuming and mopping of floors
5. o Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
6. o Dusting and polishing
7. Get to know the personal cleaning preferences of our residents
8. Keep common spaces clean and presentable
9. Remove waste from common areas regularly
10. Work safely by following regulations and procedures
