Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for residents across our assisted living communities in Kentucky. You will perform weekly housekeeping, change linens, vacuum, mop floors, clean kitchens and bathrooms, dust and polish, and keep common areas orderly while respecting residents’ preferences.

We value a can-do attitude, reliability, and genuine care for others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including changing linens and making the bed.
• Vacuuming and mopping of floors.
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
• Dusting and polishing.
• Get to know the personal cleaning preferences of residents.
• Keep common spaces clean and presentable.
• Remove waste from common areas regularly.
• Work safely by following regulations and procedures.

Housekeepers are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Housekeepers participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Housekeeper can include:

1. Work with the Morning Pointe team to build relationships with residents and families
2. Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including-

4. o Vacuuming and mopping of floors
5. o Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
